Our new property Our property is on the edge of Woodburn IL. About 4 miles west of Bunker Hill, and 7mi east of Brighton IL. We purchesed it in Aug 2006. At the time it was not being lived in, but was told it was inhabitated Jan 06. Total land is ~4.8 acers. Has municipal water although 2 (shallow) wells are located on the property Natural gas is available but will have to be run to the barn/house. The house is not worth saveing and will be donated to the local volinteer fire dept for training. Addtionaly it has a 32x60' pole barn in great condtion, no concreet floor and some power (30amp 220v) One year update We set a single wide trailer in March 07. We were staying in it about a month later, and by Aug we had settled into living there all but 2 days a week. We had a septic system installed and power was relocated from the old house to the barn. (full 200amps in the barn now, 100 of which is used for the trailer) The STL house has been on the market sence the end of April with neary an offer, its really slow The Property Blog
